Arielle Summitt
Voice and Beginning Piano
Arielle Summitt is a voice and beginning piano instructor from Champaign, Illinois. She moved to Baltimore to attend Johns Hopkins University and graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Minor in Music. In addition to studying music through the “Peabody at Homewood” program at Hopkins, Arielle learned piano and trained in voice with Kristen Toedtman at the Peabody Conservatory of Music. She has always loved to sing but grew up shy, so she wishes to provide a safe, encouraging environment for anyone, regardless of age, to sing and let their voice be heard.
Arielle tailors her lessons to target all aspects of musicianship, including theory, ear training, and expression. She keeps them fun through musical games that help students commit the technical aspects of singing and piano to muscle memory while encouraging them to explore their endless creativity. She uses an individualized, heuristic style that fosters a sense of collaboration between the instructor and student with the shared goal of making the student better at their instrument. Outside of music, Arielle trains and competes in taekwondo. CLICK HERE to schedule lessons with Arielle
